May I pick up my tickets at the box office?

Yes! The Royal George Theatre Box Office is located at 1641 N. Halsted St. (less than one block north of North Ave.). We recommend picking up your tickets at least 15 minutes before the scheduled performance time. Click here for the map.

Where do I park the car?

The Royal George has Valet Parking for $12 per car.  Our valets arrive approximately two hours before each show.

Please give yourself plenty of time as our neighborhood is quite popular in the evenings.  

Do I have to climb stairs to see OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES?

The lobby, Box Office and main floor seating are all at street level and are wheelchair-accessible. There are stairs to access our balcony seating. If you require wheelchair accessibility, please make sure to mention at the time of ticket purchase.

Yes. Headsets are available. Please request a set from one of our ushers taking tickets. A driver’s license or ID with printed address is required for deposit.

Is there a wheelchair-accessible restroom?

Yes, both bathrooms on the main level are wheelchair-accessible.  There are also additional restrooms located on the balcony level.

Does The Royal George Theatre have air conditioning?

Yes. It’s not too hot, not too cold, you’ll be able to totally relax.

Is there a place in The Royal George Theatre to buy a snack or a drink?

Yes, and you may bring both into the theater.  Just don’t eat an hour before you go swimming.

Is there a coat check?

Yes, located just inside the lobby for $1 per checked item.

May I use my camera?

No. The use of cameras and recording devices is strictly prohibited.

Is there a lost and found in The Royal George Theatre?

Yes.  For lost and found inquiries, please speak with a member of our house staff or call the box office at 312-988-9000.

Do I need to dress up?

Some people choose to wear “special occasion” clothes, but business casual attire is perfectly appropriate.  Try to avoid wearing your old Purim costumes, though.
