Daniel Okrent has written books, newspaper columns, and liner notes; edited magazines; taught graduate school; invented games; appeared in films; won a fancy history prize; and yakked in documentaries. He is a member of the Authors Guild, and the Screen Actors Guild and, since the opening of this production, the Dramatists Guild. He lives in New York and on Cape Cod with his shikse wife, poet Rebecca Okrent. Their half-breed children, John and Lydia, visit them frequently (but not frequently enough).
